Indian Institute of Management Kolkatta is celebrating its Foundation Day on February 8, 2008.
As part of the Foundation Day ceremony, Prof. Barun De, Chairman, West Bengal Heritage Commission, Vice President, Asiatic Society and ex-Faculty Member of IIMC and Founder of Center for Studies in Social Sciences, will deliver his address on "Relevance of History in Management Studies".
Says IIM-C, "The institution stands for meritocracy, it's abiding principal with a goal to be an international centre of excellence in all aspects of management education. The Institute marks 8th February as the Foundation day and it celebrates with full enthusiasm."
On this occasion, a Memento will be presented to those employees who are currently in the 25th year of service with the Institute.
