The registration fee for all other MBA entrance exams is much higher. For example CAT 2015 charged Rs.1600/-; XAT 2016 charged Rs.1500/-; AICTE-CMAT 2016 charged Rs.1400/- and MAT May 2016 is charging Rs. 1200/-. KPPGCA is of the view that level playing field should be provided to all the candidates coming from all walks of life to take the exam at low fee and high admission prospects. The registration fee appears to be subsidized as in the present scenario, it becomes difficult for any MBA entrance exam convening body to barely meet the testing expenses incurred on conduct of exam at such a low registration fee of Rs.700/-, that too when the exam is proposed to be conducted in paper – pencil mode.
