After going national with effect from academic session 2016-17, KMAT 2016 exam scores propose to offer equal admission opportunity to all the candidates from all the states in the country in MBA/MCA programmes in highly ranked B-schools of Bangalore and rest of Karnataka. This is the first time that Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) is being conducted across India in 10 major cities.

KMAT 2016 has opened the MBA/MCA admission to the candidates coming from all the states in India like U.P., Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, North East and other North India states. Another key USP of KMAT 2016 is that it is going to be a simple paper pen based exam. Not only this, KMAT 2016 has the lowest ever Registration fee of Rs.700/-. This has been decided by KPPGCA so that the candidates do not feel any financial burden while applying for their preferred programme MBA or MCA. It is the first ever unique offer to pursue MBA from 170 good MBA colleges in Bangalore and other parts of Karnataka.

All candidates at par
Now the candidates appearing in KMAT 2016 would be treated at par by the 170 Bangalore and rest of Karnataka based institutes. The admission will be offered on merit instead of placing a high quota for a particular state as happens in MAHCET or other regional exams.

Make a choice of preferred institutes
The list of institutes accepting KMAT 2016 scores is available on KMAT 2016 website http://www.kmatindia.com/. It contains more than 170 B-schools & technical institutes. Candidates before appearing in KMAT 2016 can prepare a list of preferred institutes choosing the best from the list.

Since the KMAT 2016 result will be declared only a few days after the exam, applying to the B-schools in time will help to get admission in preferred B-school.

KPPGCA confirms more B-schools  
KPPGCA, the KMAT 2016 convening authority has confirmed that KMAT scores will be accepted by 170 management institutes situated in Bangalore and rest of Karnataka treating all the candidates from all over India equal. These B-schools have lower fee structure as compared to the fee structure in the B-schools in other parts of the country.

Lowest application fee
You can appear in KMAT 2016 at an application fee of Rs.700/- while the registration fee for other MBA entrance exams is more than Rs.1000/- and goes upto 2200/-

Single exam for MBA & MCA
KMAT 2016 is proposed to be conducted in a single session on May 29, 2016 across the country at all the designated test centres. The scores of the exam will be applicable both for MBA and MCA as per the choice exercised during the registration process for KMAT 2016.

KMAT 2016 is a conventional paper pencil mode test. The exam offers the opportunity to explore admission chances in highly ranked Bangalore based B-schools who also offer good placement in top rated companies. Since Bangalore is a hot MBA destination, KMAT 2016 offers more admission opportunities in these B-schools offering high return on investment.

Registration process for KMAT 2016 for admission to MBA/PGDM and MCA programmes has already started and will close on May 10, 2016. KMAT 2016 exam will be held in paper pencil pattern on May 29, 2016.

On the basis of KMAT 2016 scores you may get the best B-school in Bangalore like IFIM, Acharya, Alliance University among others.  Most of the B-schools accepting KMAT 2016 score have moderate fee structure as compared to IIMs and other B-schools.
