The book deals in details finer aspects of career building of students, especially related to MBA education right from enrollment process to spending two years in the institution and finally going for placement

“MBA- Meri Manzil”, authored by Dr. Rajiv R. Thakur Director Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida was unveiled by Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Hon. Union Minister of Tourism, Culture & Civil Aviation, Govt. of India in a simple ceremony following ethos of Dr. Rajiv R. Thakur “Simple living high thinking”.

The book deals in details finer aspects of career building of students, especially related to MBA education right from enrollment process to spending two years in the institution and finally going for placement. It deals in details about opportunities available in Corporate Sector for MBAs and necessary skills required for a successful MBA career.

Crafted in 3different sections spread across 10 chapters, the book written in Hindi language, offers its readers an expert guidance and insights into popular and emerging career option in management field. Beginning with the role of family in building an eco system of progressive thoughts and visioning the future of children, the book disseminates the essential information to navigate the career in management field, on importance of MBA as a stepping stone towards a corporate dream and how to prepare for entrance tests, educational eligibility, when to apply, scholarships available, career prospects, nature of work and job expectations at different managerial levels, emoluments among others. In one section of the book, Dr Thakur builds real-life examples and thoughts on emerging role of management studies of the people of eminence from across all shades of economy, PSU, MNCs, and entrepreneurship.

‘MBA Meri Manzil’ targets youths in small towns but is equally useful for urban young MBA aspirants. It offers guidance to youths who are eager to get clarity about their life’s corporate aspirations in a personally authentic way.
Present on the occasion were author of the book Dr. Rajiv R Thakur, who was joined by his wife Ritu Thakur, daughter Bhargavi Thakur and staff colleagues Dr. V. K. Tomar and Mr Anup Tiwari.

Hon. Minister not only autographed few copies of the book but also gone through its contents. He praised Dr. Thakur to take the initiative of producing book in mother tongue which will benefit masses of students who are generally deprived of access of material that can properly guide them to pursue professional career due to language barrier.
