The extended deadline for KMAT 2016 online registration process is proposed to close today on May 12, 2016 at midnight hour. Accordingly only 12 hours are approximately left to finalize the registration to appear in the first national level KMAT in your preferred test city across the country. Needless to mention, it is only the online registration process which has been extended from May 10 to May 12, 2016 by KPPGCA, the KMAT 2016 convening authority.

Don’t wait for last minute to register
If you wait for the last minute to register for KMAT 2016, you cannot rule out the technical glitches due to heavy rush of candidates gathering to register late. To avoid any such untoward problem, it is advisable to register well in time or at least a few hours before the schedule time of closing of online registration process.

KMAT 2016 offers the last opportunity for MBA/MCA aspirants who seek admission to good AICTE approved programmes in 2016 in Bangalore and the rest of Karnataka institutes. The scores of all other MBA entrance exams conducted after KMAT 2016 will be accepted for MBA admission to the academic session that begins in 2017-18.

Online registration with payment: closing tonight
The last date for online registration for the prestigious Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2016 has been extended till midnight today.

Offline Registration: DD should reach by May 13
For offline registrations no extension in date has been offered but the KMAT 2016 Delhi NCR Secretariat will accept the Bank DDs till May 13 at its office.  The candidates opting for Offline registration have to ensure that their Demand Drafts are delivered to KMAT 2016 Secretariat latest by May 13, 2016.

All the candidates at par
The biggest advantage to register and apply for KMAT 2016 is its unique nature of considering candidates from all parts of India at par instead of awarding regional preferences as happens in other state level MBA entrance tests. This is the first time that KMAT has gone National and offers testing opportunity at any of the 10 preferred test cities across the country.

Lowest Rs.700/- Registration fee
The registration and application fee for KMAT 2016 is only Rs.700/- which is much lower than any other MBA entrance exams whether National or state level. Candidates have to pay between Rs.1000/- and Rs.1600/- towards registration and application fee for other MBA entrance exams.

Simple Registration process
The registration for KMAT 2016 is simple 2 step process.  Candidates opting for online registration can complete the process in 10 to 15 minutes including making payment of Rs.700/- registration fee.

How to apply
Visit the KMAT 2016 website http://www.kmatindia.com and go to Apply now. Immediately the page will ask you to Login with your valid mail id and password. You will then be directed to the main registration page.

Following are the 2 modes to register and apply

Online process
Step-1: Fill in the details
Fill up simple single page form on-line. The form contains simple details related to your personal profile like name, address, category, gender, academics, choice of study programme between MBA/MCA (as per eligibility criteria) followed by preferred test city.

You may complete the details in one sitting of 10 minutes or may save the page to login again after some time.

Step-2: Make payment online
After submitting the completed registration form online, you will be directed to make payment of Rs.700/- online. You can make payment through Net banking/debit or credit card.

Off-line process
Step-1: Fill in the details online
Complete the details in registration and application form online and save it. Then download the filled in completed registration form and take print.

Make payment by DD: Attach with application form
Get a demand draft prepared for Rs.700/- fill the details of the DD in the form and send it by Regd/speed post. Please write your name, course name (MBA/MCA) and system generated number (if any) on the reverse of the draft.

Fee for Offline Registration is Rs. 700. Demand Draft should be prepared in the name of KMAT 2016 and payable at Bangalore.  Your application form alongwith Demand Draft must reach Triumph MediaTech (P) Ltd, B 57, Sector 72, Noida 201301 by May 13, 2016.

Please take care to keep a photocopy of the completed registration form and DD for your reference.

Documents for KMAT 2016 Registration
Please note that no document-original or copy regarding your personal details, qualifications etc. is to be attached with the application form except the demand draft  that too, when you are making offline payment.  But to complete the registration details quickly KPPGCA suggests the candidates to keep the following ready before starting the KMAT 2016 registration process

-A Computer with good Internet connectivity so that there is no breakage of Internet during registration

-All your qualification details as you need to enter them while registering for KMAT 2016 exam

-You need to upload your scanned photo while registering, hence keep ready a scanned clear photo of yours taken on a white background. The size of this photo should be 140x160 (60Kb)

-You need to upload your scanned signature while registering, hence keep ready your scanned clear signature done on a white background. The size of this signature file should be 60x90 (30Kb)

-A Valid e-mail id which you will be using at least for the next 3 months. All communication will be done on this e-mail id which you will enter while registering for KMAT 2016 exam

-A Valid mobile number as all information via sms will be sent to this number

-A valid Net Banking/Credit/Debit card in case you want to pay ONLINE

Please note KMAT 2016 aims to select suitable students for admission in management programmes in 170 renowned B-schools in Bangalore and rest of Karnataka state. A few prominent institutes are Acharya Institute of Management and Sciences (AIMS), Alliance University, IFIM Business School, MP Birla Institute, M S Ramaiah, Mount Carmel, PESIT among others.
