IIM Jammu is the 20th IIM established by Ministry of HRD, Government of India and is the first IIM in the state of Jammu & Kashmir. IIM Jammu will begin operation in the month of August with 3 weeks of classes at Noida and subsequently at Old University campus in Jammu from September 5, 2016. The strategy has been adopted to avoid any delay in academic session and offer best learning experience from the IIM Lucknow faculty.

No GD/PI in final selection
There will not be any Group Discussion (GD); Writing Ability Test (WAT) or Personal Interview round after the first stage shortlisting for admission to IIM Jammu. The final admission offer will be made to the candidates on the basis of weightage awarded to CAT 2015 score, academic profile & diversity, gender diversity and work experience by July 25.

IIM Jammu: Shortlisting criteria
The shortlisting Criteria for eligibility to be considered for admission of 45 candidates for Post Graduate Programme in Management, 2016-18 based on CAT 2015 cut off at IIM Jammu would be

Candidates who are not shortlisted will not receive any email. Please note that eligible candidates who do not reconfirm their interest in admission to IIM Jammu shall be excluded from being considered for admission.

IIM Jammu joins the IIM family as the 20th IIM of the country. The preparatory classes for PGP 2016-18 of IIM Jammu are proposed to begin from August 1, 2016 at Noida campus of IIM Lucknow.
