The last date to confirm expression of interest for admission to IIM Jammu will close today on June 30, 2016. IIM Lucknow the mentoring institute to IIM Jammu has confirmed on this point. There is also no proposal to extend the last date of admission process beyond June 30. Dr Ajit Prasad, Director IIM Lucknow has clarified “There is no proposal to extend the last date of admission for IIM Jammu which closes today.”
Accordingly the admission seekers with valid CAT 2015 scores and exploring admission in IIM Jammu have to adhere to deadline of June 30, 2016 to confirm expression of interest. Without completing this process they will not be considered for admission to the first PGP 2016-18 batch at IIM Jammu in the state of Jammu & Kashmir.
Confirm EOI for IIM Jammu or lose admission chance
Expressing Interest in IIM Jammu is mandatory. Since there is no separate application process for admission you have to confirm EoI by today evening.
Why EoI Mandatory?
Expression of interest for admission to IIM Jammu has been considered necessary as in CAT-2015 there was no column to register and apply for IIM Jammu. Accordingly, when candidates applied, they had not expressed their interest in IIM Jammu. Now, the newest IIM has opened admission process for 2016-18 batch and during the time that has passed, many applicants may have already confirmed other options for admissions. So given the relatively short time available for IIM Jammu admissions, the institute would not like to spend time on people who are not interested in IIM Jammu.

Candidates with valid CAT 2015 scores and meeting the eligibility criterion as defined in the admissions policy for IIM Jammu at IIM Lucknow website http://www.iiml.ac.in/jammu/ need to confirm Expression of Interest at http://www.iiml.ac.in/jammu/?page_id=5
The window that will open will need your CAT 2015 Registration Number and registered mail Id. If you complete this 1 minute process now, you will be included among the applicants for admission to PGP 2016-18 batch at IIM Jammu.
After today, no IIM available for admission
The admission process in all the 19 IIMs has been closed, final merit lists declared and admission offers already made. IIM Jammu, the 20th IIM is the only Indian Institute of management where the fortunate ones can still explore admission opportunity and make their dream of studying at IIM come true. The process will also close by the end of day on June 30.
The candidates who do not express interest for admission to IIM Jammu by June 30, 2016 will not be considered for admission to PGP 2016-18 batch at IIM Jammu nor they will be included in the merit ranks in their respective category.
It is in your own interest to apply before the deadline as a few hours are still left. There is no application fee to apply for admission to IIM Jammu.
