The 7th edition of Indian Management Conclave, India’s biggest management education conference, is all set to be hosted at IIM Ahmedabad campus on August 5-6, 2016. IMC 2016 will be addressed by Policy makers, CXOs from corporate India, Directors and finest minds from Indian and global management education. Joining the stellar line up of speakers, R S Sodhi, Managing Director, GCMMF Ltd (AMUL) will be sharing his perspective on ‘Institutional Building’ at IMC 2016.
Rupinder Singh Sodhi, an alumnus of 1st batch of Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), is the Managing Director of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (AMUL), which is India’s largest Food Products organization with a turnover of Rs. 23,004 crores. GCMMF (AMUL) markets dairy and food products under the popular brand name ‘Amul’, Asia’s largest milk brand owned by 3.6 million milk producers of Gujarat. Mr Sodhi has been instrumental in taking ‘Amul’ brand to dizzying heights that it has scaled today. He took over as MD of GCMMF 5 years back and has taken GCMMF (Amul) on growth increasing its turnover from Rs. 8,000 crores in 2009-10 to Rs. 23,004 crores in 2015-16.
Mr Sodhi joins a very eminent group of speakers from India and Abroad who will be addressing IMC 2016 on August 5-6. IMC 2016 will feature addresses by leading management thinkers from India and Abroad. Policy makers, CXOs from corporate India, Directors and finest minds from Indian and global management education will be addressing IMC 2016 on the theme ‘Institutional Leadership in Management Education’.
Dr A Sahasrabudhe, Chairman of AICTE, the regulatory body for Technical Education in India, will be addressing IMC 2016 on August 6, and will share his vision for the management education sector.
Dr Sahasrabudhe’s address and presence at IMC 2016 will provide opportunity for B-school Directors and management educators to know about his views on management education.
Dr Ashish Nanda, Director, IIM Ahmedabad will be addressing the Inaugural session of IMC 2016. Dr David Schmittlein, Dean, MIT Sloan School of Management, one of the Top 10 B-schools in the World, will be delivering the Keynote Address from the MIT campus in US. Dr Jitendra V. Singh, Former Dean for HKUST Business School, Asia’s No 1 B-school, and Nanyang Business School Singapore will be visiting India to address IMC 2016. He is currently the Chair Professor and Senior Adviser to the President of HKUST, Hong Kong.

One of the highlights of IMC conclave will be IMC faculty development workshop by IIMA on Case Method.
