Brushing aside, as rubbish and misleading unauthentic information being spread on some portals, sources from Symbiosis International University (SIU) Pune have informed that the decision on key dates for SNAP 2017 is yet to be taken.
Sharing with MBAUniverse.com, SIU test head for SNAP 2016 exam has informed, since Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is conducted on the 3rd Sunday of December every year, SNAP 2016 exam date will fall accordingly on December 18, 2016 but the SNAP 2016 convening committee at SIU Pune is yet to decide on the dates of opening, closing of Registration, issue of admit card, declaration of result etc.
Number of Symbiosis aspirants got confused when on one of the forums they came to know about the key dates of SNAP 2016 exam going upto final selection process whereas SIU announces the key dates only upto the date of declaration of result.
No dates announced by Symbiosis
SNAP 2016 aspirants are advised to refrain from any such misleading reports and confirm their authenticity before believing them. Sources from Symbiosis International University (SIU) have categorically informed that there is no decision taken as yet on the various activity dates for SNAP 2016.
How to check the authenticity
The site spreading misleading information about the SNAP 2016 registration and other key dates has included number of dates which are never made available by Symbiosis International University (SIU) Pune. The SNAP 2016 convening authority SIU Pune will share the authenticated dates for SNAP 2016 after arriving at the decision.
Gateway to MBA 2017-19 in 14 Symbiosis B-schools including Symbiosis Pune, the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2016 is going to be convened on December 18, 2016 as SNAP is held on 3rd Sunday of December every year.
The exam will be held in 30 test cities as paper-pen based test containing Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Registration and application process for SNAP 2016 will be online and would commence in the last week of August 2016. The gap between the SNAP 2016 exam and last date of registration will be of minimum 25 days.
The 14 Symbiosis institutes across the country do not accept scores of any other exam than SNAP for admission to their MBA programmes. All the 14 institutes are affiliated to Symbiosis International University (SIU) Pune.

Registration not to open prior to official announcement
Candidates may not be able to fill up the on-line registration form prior to the designated commencement date as form on the site snaptest.org would not open.
In case any Changes in the online application form are required to be made, it can be done only up to the closing date of Registration. After that no change will be permitted by SIU Pune.
