IFIM’s Centre for Distance Learning has introduced its PGDM in Business Analytics, as part of its Professional Series, which is a combination of PGDM and a professional certification. This UGC-DEB and AICTE approved course helps in developing domain certified skills and knowledge which will enable continuous employability of learners.

Programme to cater growing corporate demand
Business Analytics is the practice of using data to drive business strategy and performance. Application of Information Technology such as cloud and IoT has resulted into the exponential growth of disposable data from multiple sources.
It is anticipated that by 2020, corporations will deliver 60% of actionable information to decision makers or management using business analytics, which will help them in taking critical decisions. Therefore, these corporations will need people with knowledge of the right tools to analyse data with broader management perspective for comprehensive and insightful business decisions.

Programme curriculum
The programme curriculum offers 6 subjects in each semester out of which 4 subjects teach function oriented management concepts and 2 are domain oriented training tools.

The course blends directly with the skills that are required in the industry such as Data Visualisation, Business Statistics, SAS/R Programming and Statistical Modelling. Thus, it creates continuously employable professionals, which makes a learner job ready at the end of every semester.

One of the recent surveys conducted by Jigsaw Academy on the salary prospects of Business Analytics revels that it is the one of the highest paid jobs. The average salary is Rs 9.9 lakhs per annum.
