MAT 2016: Admit card released, download now; Plan to attempt September exam

MAT 2016 admit card for September exam has been released by AIMA and now the candidates whose applications were successfully submitted can download the same from AIMA website. However, the candidates who registered after 23rd August 2016 may download their Admit Card For MAT September 2016 (Computer Based Test) from 3rd September 2016 (Saturday), 5PM onwards.

AIMA enabled the Admit card to appear in Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2016 September exam on August 27. The MAT 2016 September exam in paper pen mode will be held on September 4, and the computer based test will be held from September 10, 2016 onwards. AIMA has asked the MAT 2016 September exam aspirants to check their application status to confirm their candidature as the Admit card for MAT 2016 September exam is enabled on its website.

According to AIMA, the MAT 2016 September exam convening authority, ‘All provisionally registered candidates both for Paper Based and Computer Based Test can download their Admit Card from AIMA website link: http://apps.aima.in/matadmitcard.aspx on or after 27 August 2016 (Saturday)’.

Now Aspirants can download their admit cards from AIMA site. The Admit card will remain available on the website till the exam day.

The admit cards for MAT 2016 September exam to be held on September 4 in PBT and on September 10 in CBT mode is purely based on the information filled in by the candidates in their application form.

Specific Admit Card has been generated both for the candidates opted for the Paper Based Test and for the Computer Based Test. Admit Card for MAT 2016 September exam contains Candidate’s Name, Form No, Roll No, Test Date, Test Time and Test Venue Address. Candidate has to strictly follow the date and time allotted to him/her in the case of Computer Based Test.

How to download the MAT 2016 admit card
From August 27 onwards, MAT 2016 September exam aspirants can download the admit card by login to the MAT 2016 website with their form number and date of birth/name. It is further advisable to take at least 2-3 prints of the admit card after checking the details given in the document.

Out of the 3 available fields only 2 are to be filled up to download the admit card.

Confirm candidature 
AIMA has advised the MAT 2016 September exam aspirants to check their application status by login to its site. It will help the candidates to ensure and confirm their candidature and eligibility for MAT 2016 September exam. In case there is any error in filling up the application, MAT 2016 aspirants will be able to rectify it after contacting the AIMA-MAT centre 2016.

The process to check your application status is very simple. Log on to AIMA MAT 2016 website, go to application status for September 2016 MAT status, enter your 6 dixit form number and submit. It will show your current application status to enable you to confirm your candidature

AIMA has already clarified that 7 days before the Paper Based Test date, Admit card would be issued. Accordingly, specific Admit Card is generated on August 27, 2016 since the paper based MAT 2016 September exam is to be held on September 4, 2016.

It will be better to take more than 2-3 prints of your admit card. Keep one with your other mandatory documents which you will have to carry to the exam centre and other with you so that in case of any query you may instantly refer to it.

Finalise your Test taking plan now
Experts are of the view that MAT 2016 September exam is of great importance as it is the first MBA entrance test for admission session 2017-18.Besides the exam serves as a good opportunity to test your preparation level for IIFT, CAT, SNAP and XAT. In view of Prof S K Agarwal, those who have registered for MAT 2016 September exam should not miss the test.

Accordingly you should get ready and devise your travel plan to take the test. There are around 51 test cities for paper based MAT and 12 cities are assigned for computer based test. Please check your admit card, find out where your test venue is and if it is out of your town, reach there a day before so as to appear in the test without any fatigue caused by journey.

You can devote your time to revisit certain topics, question pattern, practice certain type of questions but it is not advisable to start something new at this juncture.
