AIMA has declared the September MAT 2016 exam result much ahead of the officially announced date. There are number of good B-schools where MAT scores can be utilised for admission to MBA/PGDM programmes.

Earlier AIMA had announced that result for September MAT 2016 exam would be declared by the last week of September 2016. But the result has been declared around 2 weeks ahead of announced date. In fact AIMA has not been delaying the MAT exam result and always declares it one or two week before the announced date.

MAT 2016 September exam was conducted in paper pencil as well as CBT online test. In the paper pen format MAT 2016 September exam was held on Sunday September 4, 2016 with a test duration of 150 minutes from 10 AM to 12.30 PM in 51 test cities in India. The Computer Based online test was scheduled from Saturday September 10, 2016 onwards in 12 test cities.

All India Management Association (AIMA) is the authority to convene MAT exams which take place 4 times in a year giving the opportunity to the candidates to explore admission opportunity in 300+ B-schools. MAT is a national level entrance test for admission to PGDM institutes where thousands of the aspirants test their skills. Usually there are 4 MAT tests in a year viz February, May, September and December.  MAT scores are considered for admission by number of management institutes offering PGDM programmes which are equivalent to MBA.
