CMAT 2017 exam will have extended test window of 2 days as against 1 day in last year exam. This move by AICTE to conduct CMAT 2017 on January 28 and 29 has been much appreciated by prospective CMAT takers, who think that 2 days CMAT is much better than 1 day CMAT exam.

In fact CMAT prior to 2016 was conducted twice in a year, once in September and then in February. Both the CMAT exams used to be conducted in 4 to 5 days test window. However, the test window was shortened to 1 day for CMAT 2016 which was also revamped to the yearly exam in place of twice a year exam. Now with 2 days test window, it will help the aspirants to decide and opt for the preferred date of the exam.

Registration process at a fee of Rs.1400/- for General & OBC candidates and at Rs.700/- for SC/ST/PD candidates will start on October 10 and will end on December 10, 2016.

Choice of 3 Test cities
The registration process will offer a choice of 3 test cities. According to AICTE “You can select up-to 3 cities in India giving order of preference towards your test city. The first choice of city will be given due consideration and weightage. However, actual allotment as per order of choice will be subject to availability of the slot in that particular city.”
