Admission Process
MDI Gurgaon application process for admission to PGPM; PGP-HR and PGP-IM 2017-19 batch will close on December 2, 2016. 

CAT 2016 is the mandatory exam to qualify for shortlisting at MDI Gurgaon. There is one common application form for all the 3 programmes. Academic diversity will be awarded due weightage in final section process

MDI Gurgaon is one of the top B-schools and follows rigorous shortlisting process. Last year the CAT cut offs were more than 94 percentile. So if you wish to explore admission opportunity in MDI Gurgaon your CAT 2016 score should come to be around 95 and above.

55% weightage to CAT 2016 in selection process
Responding to MBAUniverse.com query as to who could be the ideal candidate for admission to MDI Gurgaon, Dr Daisy Chauhan, Admission Chair at MDI Gurgaon shared “An ideal applicant should have good communication & analytical skills and should  possess the ability to take challenges.”

How much weightage will go to CAT scores in admission process at MDI Gurgaon? Sharing the information Dr Chauhan says “CAT 2016 scores have the weight-age of 55% in the overall selection process.”

Candidates who appear in CAT 2016 will be short listed on the basis of the details filled in the application form and their CAT 2016 scores. Only the short listed candidates will then be called for Group Discussion, Written Test and Personal Interviews during February and March 2017.

Centers for GD/PI/WAT are Bangalore, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai (centers other than Gurgaon are tentative).

Last date to apply & application fee
Applicants need to fill only single application form. The preferences of PGPM/PGP-HRM/ PGP-IM will be taken only from the shortlisted candidates in the month of January/February 2017. The shortlisted candidates have to login at MDI website and enter their order of preference for PGPM/PGP-IM/PGP-HRM. Preferences once filled will not be changed at any stage later on.

Applicants have to apply online by visiting MDI website http://www.mdi.ac.in. They can click on the programme they wish to apply for and follow the instructions given on the website. Online registration will be Open till December 2, 2016 17:00 hrs. Candidates have to make an online payment of Rs 2200/- using Credit/Debit card/Net Banking.

Advising the CAT 2016 aspirants to prepare smartly, Dr Chauhan suggests “Brush up well in verbal & Reading comprehension component of CAT and practice on time management.
