Experts say: Wait & Watch
In view of the CAT experts at T.I.M.E. one of the biggest CAT exam preparation centres in India where more than 60000 aspirants prepare for this biggest MBA entrance exam there has not been any paper leak since CAT was computerised in 2009 nor the CAT exam takers are allowed to disclose questions even after the completion of the exam.

The leak if at all it is, did not happen in the 1st slot of the CAT 2016 exam as the students who appeared in 2nd slot confirmed the questions were related to the afternoon session of the exam. This might have happened only due to the security slip when someone was able to sneak with a mobile equipped with camera and transmitted the images of the questions.

In view of the Experts “Students are obviously concerned about this leak and how it will affect their selection chances. The IIMs will need to investigate what exactly happened – they should do it on topmost priority. This is required for calming the students' anxiety and to assure them that the sanctity of the test has not been compromised or if it has been necessary action will be taken. Based on the findings, they should decide on the course of action.”

If the incidence is localised, the action like cancellation of the exam may not be taken as it would put thousands of the candidates to inconvenience but in case it is of serious nature, the course of action should be as not to play with the future of good and honest CAT test takers. The best way is to wait and watch for the action to be taken by IIM Bangalore in this matter.
