The institute needs 50% marks in Bachelor’s degree. Institute of Management will receive the test scores from IIM for those candidates who have appeared in the CAT examination and have also applied to NIRMA.

Adding further the details Dr Pingle says that ‘Theme Development & Presentation’ carries a weight of 10% in admission process.

Sharing the importance of CAT 2016 scores in admission criteria and final selection process Dr Pingle says “Candidates are shortlisted for Personal Interview and Theme Development & Presentation on the basis of their performance in different components of CAT.

The following weightage will be assigned to each component of the selection process and composite scores will be computed based on the selection criteria.

  • Common Admission Test: 60%
  • Personal Interview: 20%
  • Theme Development & Presentation: 10%
  • Academic Performance: 10%

An additional score of up to 5 points will also be given for full-time relevant work experience.
