IIFT Registration 2019: Application Fee Up at Rs.1650/-; Apply by September 14

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has released the IIFT 2018 exam notification on August 6, 2018 and has simultaneously started the registration process. The application fee for IIFT 2018 exam has been increased to Rs.1650/-. IIFT 2018 exam for admission to MBA (IB) 2019-21 batch will be held on December 2, 2018 as a paper based test although the registration process is only online.

With the launch of Kakinada campus in Andhra Pradesh, MBA(IB) intake at all the three campuses of IIFT has increased to 420 seats as against 360 earlier. IIFT entrance exam will be held in 20 test cities across the country.

On July 17, MBAUniverse.com had informed the IIFT MBA (IB) aspirants to get ready for IIFT entrance exam to be held on December 2, 2018.

With the release of exam notification, IIFT has also opened the registration and application process for the IIFT entrance exam to be held on December 2, 2018 in conventional paper-pen mode. The registration and application process to appear in IIFT 2018 exam is available online only.

The registration window for IIFT 2017 exam which has opened on August 6, 2018 will remain open for 40 days as the last date to submit the completed application form is September 14, 2018. IIFT will be conducting its National Level Admission Test for MBA (IB) batch 2019-21 for its Delhi, Kolkata and Kakinada campuses.

The IIFT 2018 entrance exam is the gateway to MBA (IB) at this prestigious institute that still has lower fee than top IIMs and has high placements at par with highly ranked B-schools.

IIFT 2018 Exam: Important dates and activity

Single day paper based test
Indian Institute of  Foreign Trade (IIFT) will conduct the entrance exam for MBA (IB) 2019-21 admission in a single day on December 2, 2018 from 10AM to 12 noon across the country in paper pencil mode.

The exam is divided in 4 to 6 sections of English Grammar, Vocabulary and Comprehension, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation and Quantitative Analysis. The marking system is variable for each section and carries 0.50 to 1 mark credit for each correct answer.

Who can register and apply
Applicants should ensure before applying for IIFT 2018 exam for admission to MBA (IB) 2019-21 batch that they possess following qualification-

• Recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years’ duration in any discipline with a minimum 50% marks
• Candidates appearing for a qualifying examination can also apply subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification by October 7, 2019.
• No age limit to appear in IIFT entrance exam.
• Work experience not necessary

Registration & Application fee 
The application fee for IIFT entrance exam is Rs.1650/- for general category candidates. The application fee for SC/ST/PH Candidates  is Rs.825.

According to IIFT  ‘The cost of Prospectus and Application Form is one-time payment of Rs.1,650 which includes application screening and Entrance Test Fee and the candidates are not required to pay any other fee while sending back the filled-in Application Form to IIFT”.

IIFT entrance test is one of the most preferred MBA entrance exams. Around 60 thousand candidates are expected to go for IIFT 2018 registration and apply for admission to 420 seats of MBA (International Business) programme for three campuses of IIFT at Delhi, Kolkata and Kakinada. The ratio per candidate is higher than any other MBA entrance test. IIFT doesn’t accept any other score than the score of its own entrance test for domestic candidates. For NRIs and foreign nationals GMAT scores are accepted.
