The CAT 2009 second phase, which is starting from today has been postponed for the first slot. It is starting from 12 noon instead of 10 am.

“Due to potential adverse weather conditions across parts of India, and to further protect the integrity and security of the CAT, Prometric and the IIMs will be changing the morning session to start at 12:00pm,” said the IIMs and Prometric. “Candidates scheduled for this session need to arrive at their test centres by 10:00am for security and identity checks,”

However, the second slot timings remain the same. The second slot will start from 3 pm only. “Please note that the timing of the afternoon session remains unchanged,” IIMs said. Candidates must bring their valid Admit Cards issued for the second phase of CAT 2009.

About 10,000 candidates are taking the second phase of CAT 2009. The test will be held in 46 test centers across India.
