For all the MBA aspirants who have kept their options open in case they are not able to qualify for their desired B-school, the State Bank of India has brought some good news for them. The bank has announced on 1st February the recruitment drive for 2,500 Probationary Officers and 2,000 Probationary Officers (Rural Business).
The date of common written examination is Sunday, 11 April 2010. The online registration has started from 1 February 2010. The last date for registration of on-line applications is 2 March 2010.
The 3 hour written examination will have Combined Objective & Descriptive Type Tests with total marks of 250.
The objective type test will be 2 hours with maximum marks 200 and will consist of:
i) Test of English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.)
ii) Test of General Awareness, Marketing & Computers
iii)Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation
iv) Test of Reasoning (High Level)
The duration of Descriptive type test will be 1 hour with maximum marks of 50 and the test will be of "Test of English Language (Comprehension, short precis, letter writing & essay)".
The Phase-II of the selection process will consist of Group Discussion & Interview.
