All those of you who had taken CAT 2009 are now relieved as the results are declared now. But those who are aspiring to get through Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad (MICA), this is time for you to get geared up for the next big exam of the week, MICAT 2010. The institute which had decided to shun the CAT 2009 scores will hold its exam on Sunday, March 7, 2010.

The test will be of 90 minutes duration and has five sections. The sections are Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability, Psychometry, Word Association and Essay/Précis writing. There is no special preparation required in order to crack MICAT.

“The exam tests the analytical and lateral thinking ability of the candidates. Candidates should have good written communication skills and familiarity about the current affairs. The test is designed to test the candidates' aptitude on communication as profession. Thus the candidates should be well read and have good writing skills,” informed a top MBA expert.

MICAT will be held in the cities of Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Lucknow and Kolkata.
