In the MBAUniverse.com Poll conducted from 2 to 6 March 2010 it has been revealed that the majority of the members of the management education community feel that there is a need to streamline the GD-PI process. Currently the successful candidates of CAT 20009 are forced to travel to different cities to attend the GD-PI round.

To the question: In the interest of MBA aspirants should there be common GD-PI for all IIMs and other top B-schools, just like the Common Aptitude Test? 67% respondents have said ‘Yes’ and 33% respondents have said ‘No’. There were a total of 82 votes.

The majority of the respondents to the poll think that just like the Common Aptitude Test (CAT) there should be a common GD-PI across IIMs and the other top B-schools that accept the CAT scores. This would enable the successful candidates to attend GD and PI at their nearest center.
