The Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad will be organizing the 3rd International Conference on Data Management on 11 and 12 March 2010 in collaboration with the University of Saskatchewan, Canada and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

The conference will be co-chaired by Dr. Poonam Garg and Dr. Susmi Routray from IMT Ghaziabad. It will be attended by over 200 delegates from India, Bangladesh, USA, Canada, Turkey, Singapore and many other countries. The conference will bring together executives from industry and academics to meet discuss, exchange views and experiences on various issues relating to managing data, which is a critical tool for decision making in any organization.

The Chief Guest for the occasion will be Dr. Janusz Kozinski, Dean of Engineering, University of Saskatchewan. Mr. Rajat Nag, Managing Director General, Asian Development Bank; Mr. Gerarld Seniuk, Chief Judge of Saskatchewan and Mr. Bharat Rele, Director, Solution Engineering for SAP India will be the key-note speakers.

With their extensive experience in the industry and knowledge, the discussions will cover a wide range of areas like the business benefits generated due to effective data management techniques, ensuing customer delight due to better business processes resulting from effective data management techniques and major challenges in implementing effective data management techniques.

The plenary session will be conducted in two parts by Mr. Swapan Purkait who is the CEO of Nettech, a information technology consulting and development firm specialized in the area of computer networking and Ruchin Kumar who is the principal architect of Safenet, a information security firm.

Numerous papers are to be presented this year under the tracks of Data Management, Computer Science & Engineering, Communication Networks, Computer Applications, ERP/CRM, Computer Network Security, Computer Applications etc. Various emerging trends, concepts, techniques, technologies and experiences in new areas of research and development in business organizations in the knowledge economy are to be discussed in these sessions.
