MBAUniverse.com, India’s No. 1 management portal and iNext newspaper, the youth newspaper from the house of Jagran Prakashan, organized ‘Management Avenues 2010’ in Patna on 30 January under the theme of “India, You and MBA: Tapping a Billion Opportunities Ahead”. More than 600 MBA aspirants participated with high enthusiasm in the event.

The 8-city event has already been held in Kanpur (19 January), Lucknow (20 January), Allahabad (21 January), Varanasi (22 January) and Ranchi (29 January). The event has registered a great response with more than 4,000 MBA aspirants getting benefited till now.

In Patna the venue was A.N. College. The keynote speakers for the inaugural session were: Dr V Mukunda Das, Director, Chandragupt Institute of Management, Patna; Prof. B Ganguly, Faculty member, Chandragupt Institute of Management, Patna & IIM L Alumnus; Dr. Kamesh Kumar, HOD, MBA Department, AN College, Patna; and Dr. Sanjeev Sinha, Associate Professor, National Institute Technology, Patna.
 
The respected academicians shared their experiences and ideas with the MBA aspirants on the topic of “India, You & MBA – Tapping a Billion Opportunities Ahead!”.

Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Director, T.I.M.E., Patna was the key speaker for the next session on the topic of “MBA Entrance Process Covering Written Test, GD PI”.

There was also a special session by IIFT student Ratika Kapoor who guided the MBA aspirants on how to select an MBA school, how to prepare for MBA entrance exams, future career avenues for MBAs and shared her experience as an MBA student of top B-school of the country under the topic of “My MBA Experience & How MBA Aspirants Should Plan to Enter a Top B-school”.

The event will conclude with a Q&A session in which all the eminent speakers and the MBA students provided answers to the questions put forth by the gathered MBA aspirants.
