Connexion, a one day event of IIMA's PGPX Class of 2010 is scheduled on Tuesday, February 9, 2010. The spotlight events are two focused panel discussions on the following themes: “Bridging the divide between Academia and Industry” and “Nurturing thought leaders”.

The objective of ‘Bridging the divide between Academia and Industry’ session is to enable industry professionals and management educators to confer and develop a collaborative approach to bridge the divide between theory and practice.
 
Corporate leaders appreciate the edge and flair that candidates from premier institutes bring to their firms. Top journals acclaim the role of this top pool of talent in forging India forward. Yet, it is a common complaint that fresh campus recruits are unable to "hit the ground running".
 
The Panel Chair will be Rajiv Krishnan, MD—DDI India. The key panelists will be: Rajeev Bhadauria, Head Corporate HR, ADAG; Yogesh Patgaonkar, VP Talent Management, RPG; Prof. Biju Paul Abraham, Chairman PGPEX, IIMC.
 
The ‘Nurturing thought leaders’ session is the platform for CEOs of diverse companies to deliberate on their vision of how to develop better leaders fro the future.
