Great Lakes founder Prof Bala V Balachandran to meet MBA aspirants in 9 cities

Chennai based Great Lakes Institute of Management (GLIM) is holding a 'Meet the Dean' session to provide a platform for MBA aspirants. The sessions will address topics like ‘Why MBA’ and 'long term benefits of selecting a top Business school'. The sessions are being held from August 9 to September 6 in 9 cities across the country.

The schedule for the seminar is: Chennai (August 9), Bangalore (August 22), Hyderabad (August 23), Chandigarh (August 29), New Delhi (August 30) and Mumbai (September 6). To participate in these sessions, MBA aspirants can register at http://www.greatlakes.edu.in/admissions/ .

The business school analyzed that every year thousands of students appear for the various MBA entrance exams like CAT exam & GMAT exam.  All these students have high aspirations of crossing the holy grail of MBA. But the path to the hallowed halls of the top Business schools in India and abroad is fraught with difficulty.

Considering the above and sharing the rationale behind this development, Prof Prof T N Swaminathan, Director – Admissions of GLIM said, “The whole process of selecting the right Business Schools and applying needs to be planned meticulously. Top Business schools like Great lakes, recognize the fact that their admissions process need to connect with brightest young people around and help them with Great lakes advantage. So, ‘Meet the Dean’ sessions of Great lakes, provide an opportunity for the aspiring students insights on specific questions that students are faced with in selecting a top Business School.”
