Check Your Eligibility:Those who are appearing for their final year examinations can also apply subject to the condition that they qualify before the commencement of the course.
Check Exam Accepted & Cut-off:Working executive and NRI sponsored candidates must have secured minimum first class in the qualifying degree or PG examination, and shall appear for personal interview for selection.

Interview & GD: Once a candidate has submitted her/his application form and is shortlisted, s/he will be required to appear for a personal interview. The Personal Interview will be conducted either on campus, or at a specified location along with documents.
Admission Process:
VJIM follows a well-structured process for admission of students into the PGDM programme. The institute invites applications from candidates who have appeared for one or more of the written tests conducted by CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/CMAT/GMAT. The candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the information provided in their application forms, written test scores (sectional and overall), educational background, marks in 10th, 12th, graduation and work experience.

Those shortlisted are called for a Panel Interview (PI) for final selection.

An offer of admission is given based on a composite score that is arrived at post assessment and calculated as per the above weightages. The result is announced on the college website and offer letters are dispatched to the postal address provided in the application form. A scanned copy of the offer letter is also sent to the candidate via e-mail. Successful candidates are given stipulated time to accept the offer, failing which the admission is offered to the next candidate on the waiting list.
Thorough inspection of the candidature is done as a part of the selection process. A self-declaration by prospective students on honest factual disclosure and recommendations from two respectable people not related to the student are taken, to address character issues, if any.

In order to strengthen the student portfolio, the institute takes the following measures:

Inputs are taken from the meetings of the Advisory Body (mentioned in 2.1.5). Various distinguished members and experts in their respective fields from the corporate world and academia are part of the board who give their valuable suggestions to decide the skill set required for admission and the criteria to evaluate a prospective candidate. This exercise integrates the industry requirement for companies seeking recruitment of students in the respective areas of specialization. VJIM also uses its strong alumni network to align the skill sets required as per industry needs.
While VJIM does not conduct its own aptitude Test, the institute gives weightage to all India entrance tests such as CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT and GMAT. The score of the entrance test is an important component in overall evaluation of the candidate, along with group discussion and personal interview.
The interview panel consists of industry and academic practitioners who have wide experience in their field of specialization.
