Course Highlights

The 2-year full time MBA program in Communication Management follows an industry –oriented contemporary curriculum and provides specializations in Advertising, Public Relations and Media Management.

  • In the first semester the students are introduced to common courses in media and management as well as introductory courses in the specialization areas such as Advertising, PR and Media Management.
  • In the second semester the students are introduced to core modules. Unique modules such as Digital Media Management; and Branding and the Media explore have also been added to the curriculum.
  • The third semester allows students to choose from one of the three streams Advertising, Public Relations and Media Management.
  • The fourth semester includes courses at an advanced level in the three areas of specialization such as advanced strategic management, data analytics.

Eligibility Criterion

- The candidate should be a graduate from a recognized university with 50% or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for SC/ST) aggregate.

- Applicants awaiting their final year results can also apply. However, their admission would be provisional and subject to their furnishing proof of graduation with 50% marks in graduation.

 

 

Admission Process: Only those candidates who have registered and paid for ‘SNAP’ will be eligible to apply for MBA (CM) program.

- Fill up Online Application Form for MBA (CM) Programme and pay the registration fee.

- Four components are involved in the process. A non-gated personality assessment test, Group Exercise, Written ability Test and Personal Interaction.

- Group Exercise include activities to assess aspirants in areas like Innovation and creativity in problem solving, Team skills, Time Management etc. 

- Written Ability Test include questions to assess the creative analytical skills of the person.

- The Personal Interview round will be to assess candidates on parameters such as interpersonal skills, communication skills academic proficiency etc.
