2009 Eligibility
Candidates
applying for admission to the MBA full-time programme
must have pursued at least a three year Bachelor's
Degree program after 12 years of formal schooling
in any of the following disciplines. The minimum
requisite percentage of marks in different disciplines
is as follows:
Arts, Commerce
or Social Sciences- 50 per cent
Sciences- 55 per
cent
Mathematics or
Statistics- 60 per cent
Medicine, Engineering
or Technology- 60 per cent/ CGPA of at least six
on a scale of 10
OR
Post Graduate Degree or IInd Degree examination
after 10+2+3scheme, securing at least 60 per cent
marks.
Relaxation of
five per cent marks in the minimum eligibility
will be allowed only to candidates of the following
categories (SC/ST/OBC/PH/CW).
FMS Application
Process
There
are two ways of applying in the FMS 2010 programs,
the Physical form and the Online Registration.
For
applying in the physical form, information bulletin
along with the application form can be purchased
from the designated branches of State bank of
India located in the cities specified in the advertisement
for the admission test.
At
the designated SBI branches, applicants have to
fill-in a printed Bank payment counter-foil (supplied
by FMS) with their Name, Name of the Branch and
the required amount. The bank will return two
portions of the counter-foil to the candidate
along with a packet containing the Information
bulletin and the application form.
The
Candidate is required to attach one stamped counterfoil,
in original, with the duly filled-in application
form while sending it to FMS. Application forms
without the counter-foil or with the counter-foil
showing incorrect amount will be rejected and
the amount received will not be refunded.
For
the online registrations, the candidates have
to visit the FMS website www.fms.edu.
Those
who want to apply online would be directed to
the Online Registration page. Fill in the required
information correctly. Verify the data entered.
After the registration information is confirmed,
no data can be modified.

The FMS 2010 notification came out on the leading
publications on Sunday, September 27, 2009.
FMS
Institutes
The FMS entrance
exam is held for the admission in the programs
offered by Faculty of Management Studies (FMS),
under University of Delhi.
FMS is located
within the campus of University of Delhi. The
Administrative Office is situated in Delhi University
North Campus, on Malkajganj Road, in front of
Kirori Mal College and behind Delhi School of
Economics of University of Delhi.
FMS
also has its own premise in the University of
Delhi South Campus (Near Dhaula Kuan, on Benito
Zuarez Road). Currently MBA (MS) programme and
one section of MBA (Part-time) programme is conducted
from the South Campus facility of FMS.

Test Pattern
The FMS entrance exam is a paper pencil based
test. The duration of the test is two hours. The
questions have multiple choices. The sections
consist of Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability
and Language Comprehension, Analytical Ability
and Environmental Sensitivity. FMS 2009 had total
175 questions.

FMS 2009 paper analysis
According
to PT Education, FMS 2009 had the maximum number
of questions as compared to other MBA entrance
exams. On the basis of the difficulty level, it
could be termed as difficult on account of its
having questions from Statistics, Physics and
Higher Math in Math & DI section, Long Passages
in RC section, pretty tough wording of the paper
and innovative EU questions.
FMS 2010 Test Centers
The admission
test for both full-time programmes; MBA and MBA-MS
will be through a common FMS entrance test to
be held on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 2.00pm
at allotted centers in the following cities: Ahmedabad,
Amritsar, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh,
Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Guawahati, Hyderabad,
Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna,
Pune, Varanasi and Visakhapatnam.
