world |
|
Mr.
S Y Siddiqui

“MBA
education in India is highly westernized. We
need to review this… Are western success stories
and case studies applicable to India? Why copy
US & UK? We need to tailor the Indian MBA
according to requirements of corporate in India.
We need to identify and learn from the success
stories in India like Infosys, Wipro, Maruti
Suzuki, Bharti, LIC and many more. Also, we
need to learn from Japan and rest of Asia.”

Making
Indian MBA relevant for the new globalized world |
|
Mr.
Natarajan R
Vice President, Cognizant Business Consulting
practice
“Cognizant
loves its MBAs! We have 2500+ MBAs in the company
spread all over the world. The Indian MBA has
a lot of “hard” skills in areas like Finance
and Marketing. They are very analytical – excellent
in logical reasoning. To further improve our
MBA product, institutes must introduce China
in the Case Studies, they must inculcate entrepreneurship
and foster Innovation. Finally, MBA institutes
must promote Ethics and Corporate Social responsibility.”
