“Indian Management Education is in the midst of a big churn. Directors of leading B-schools discussed the future of MBA education in India. The panel identified erosion of the quality, lack of corporate engagement with the MBA sector, and inadequate policy framework as key challenges. The panel was however bullish about the future. The Deans said that Indian MBA will adopt global standards, offer quality and thus reinvent itself.”

The results of the much awaited MBAUniverse.com MBA Ranking Survey 2010 were release at the Indian Management Conclave. IIM A topped the rankings, while IIM Calcutta and IIM Indore clinched the #2 and #3 spots. The ranking was prepared under the guidance of a highly credible advisory body, headed by former IIM A Director Dr. Bakul Dholakia. “MBAUniverse.com MBA Rankings will study how our leading institutes are responding to the rapidly changing scenario of Business Education in India and emerging as winners. I am sure this unique ranking exercise will help all stakeholders in not only recognizing the leaders, but also in making well informed decisions,” said Dr Dholakia.
