IMC Distinguished Alumni Award (IMC DAA) are presented to outstanding business leaders every year, who graduated from an Indian business school and are now making a national and global impact.

In deciding the recipients, business leaders who met following criteria are considered:
	Achieved excellence in Management & Business Practice: The leaders must have shown excellence in their career path. They today should be playing a leadership role in their organization.
	Serving organizations with highest integrity: Awardees should be serving exemplary organizations, that stand for highest values and integrity
	Achieved National Leadership & Global Impact: Awardees, and their organizations, must be recognized leaders in India, and they should also be creating impact on global management thinking & practices
	Pursued management education from an Indian Business School
