Dr. R C Natarajan, Associate Dean of Academics and Professor of Marketing Management at TAPMI, has been appointed as Director of T. A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Manipal.

Dr. R C Natarajan, Associate Dean of Academics and Professor of Marketing Management at TAPMI, has been appointed as Director of TAPMI, Manipal.

Dr. Natarajan, who carries over 25 years of work experience including 15 years in Sales and Marketing in FMCG sector in India, assumed his new role from February 1, 2012. He has been working with the institute for 12 years now including as Dean, Academics for last two years.

Dr. Natrajan holds a Post- Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) from IRMA and MA in Economics from prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). He obtained his doctorate in management from Manipal University. He specializes in Marketing Management, Distribution Channel Management, and Marketing Strategy.

Prior to shifting to academics, he worked for six years at Amul. He was conferred the Dewang Mehta Best Teacher of Marketing Management award by the 17th Business School Affaire at Mumbai in 2008. His research interests are writing cases and papers in the areas of Distribution Management and Marketing Strategy.

Dr. R C Natarajan is also a member in the Board of Management Studies of Siva Sivani Institute of Management, Secunderabad. He has also co-authored a book on Marketing Channels.
