The declaration of scores is section wise as well as overall. Which section is supposed to get more weightage by the B school in the shortlisting criteria has been left to the respective B school admission process. AICTE states “Admission authorities and institutions, however, will be free to take their own decision at the time of admission as to what weightage they wish to give to a particular section.”

There are some B schools who give more weightage to English Language Comprehension and Logical Reasoning; a few find that Quant and DI should be given more weightage; few others prefer the candidates with better score in Logical reasoning and General Awareness
