Admission seekers with valid CAT 2015 scores and exploring admission in IIM Jammu must confirm expression of interest latest by June 30, 2016. Without completing this process they will not be considered for admission to the first PGP 2016-18 batch at IIM Jammu in the state of Jammu & Kashmir. Why Mandatory to confirm EOI for IIM Jammu?
According to Dr Ajit Prasad, Director of mentoring IIM Lucknow “Expressing Interest in IIM Jammu has been considered necessary as in CAT-2015 there was no column to register and apply for IIM Jammu. Accordingly, when candidates applied, they had not expressed their interest in IIM Jammu. Now, IIM Jammu has opened admission process for 2016-18 batch. Further, during the time that has passed, many applicants may have already confirmed other options for admissions. Given the relatively short time available for IIM Jammu admissions, the institute would not like to spend time on people who are not interested in IIM Jammu.

Online process to confirm Expression of Interest
Candidates with valid CAT 2015 scores and meeting the eligibility criterion as defined in the admissions policy for IIM Jammu at IIM Lucknow website http://www.iiml.ac.in/jammu/ need to confirm Expression of Interest for admission to IIM Jammu latest by June 30, 2016 at http://www.iiml.ac.in/jammu/?page_id=5

The window that will open will need your CAT 2015 Registration Number and registered mail Id. If you complete this one minute process till June 30, 2016 you will be considered for admission to PGP 2016-18 batch at IIM Jammu.

Jammu the only IIM with admission process open
The admission process in all the 19 IIMs has been closed, final merit lists declared and admission offers already made. IIM Jammu, the 20th IIM is the only Indian Institute of management where the fortunate ones can still explore admission opportunity and make their dream of studying at IIM come true.

Last date closes June 30, 2016
The last date for expressing interest for admission to first PGP 2016-18 programme at IIM Jammu will  close on June 30, 2016. In view of the short time available to launch the IIM Jammu without delaying its academic session, candidates may not be allowed to confirm expression of interest after the deadline of June 30.

No chance of admission after June 30
Such candidates who do not express interest for admission to IIM Jammu by June 30, 2016 will not be considered for admission to PGP 2016-18 batch at IIM Jammu nor they will be included in the merit ranks in their respective category.

It is therefore in the interest of the applicants that they should apply before the deadline. There is no application fee for eligible CAT 2015 test takers with valid scores as required by IIM Jammu.

All these eligible candidates can apply for admission into the full time 2 year PGP 2016-18 program. The application process is online and can be completed by visiting IIM Lucknow website.

The first Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in the state of Jammu & Kashmir and the 20th IIM of India is all set to operate its first PGP 2016-18 batch at the old university campus in Jammu. How to reach Jammu
Jammu is very well connected with every nook and corner of India by means of Railway, Road and Air. Super fast trains like Sampark Kranti, Rajdhani Express, Duroto Express among others connect Jammu from all parts of India. The 4 & 6 lane highway to Jammu is well connected to all parts of India. The road distance between Delhi to Jammu is around 575 Kms. and can be covered overnight.

The Jammu airport in the city is the closest domestic airport that is well-connected to different cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune, Srinagar, Leh, Chennai, among others. Popular air carriers like Spice Jet, Jet Airways, GoAir, and Air India have regular flights from the airport. The other two nearest domestic airports are in Srinagar and Leh. New Delhi is the closet international airport with daily flights to Jammu. Once you reach the airport, you can hire a taxi or a cab who will charge as per the distance covered.
