2009 had 170 questions. |
paper analysis
The paper was very lengthy which led students to have a really tough time attempting the paper. The Verbal Ability section was a mixture of reading comprehension and verbal questions. Some of the questions were of moderate difficulty level, attempting which led the candidates to score high in the section.
The Quantitative section consisted of easy to moderate difficulty level questions. The questions were from Arithmetic and Higher Math. The questions in arithmetic were direct in nature and scoring marks was much easier as compared to the higher math areas. The questions from higher mathematics however were moderate to difficult in nature.
The Analytical Reasoning questions were of higher difficulty level. The questions based on linear sequencing and seating arrangement was comparatively difficult. Questions based on critical reasoning (strong and weak arguments and assumptions) could be classified as easy to moderate. Given the strict time limits, this area can be considered to be difficult.
