Analysis: SNAP 2010
SNAP 2010 was held on Sunday, December 19, 2010. The difficulty level of SNAP 2010 was ‘easy to moderate’. The total mark of the test was 180. There were no sectional cut off in SNAP 2010. The negative marking scheme was 0.25 for one mark questions and 0.5 marks for two mark questions.

The General English section had 40 questions of easy to moderate difficulty. The questions were on Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning and Verbal Ability.

The Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency section consisted of 40 questions. The difficulty level of the questions was easy. The questions were from the topics Numbers, Time & Work, Percentage, Geometry, Mensuration, Time & Distance, Venn Diagrams etc.

The General Awareness section had 40 questions and the difficulty level was moderate. The questions were a good mix of current affairs and static GK questions. The Analytical & Logical Reasoning section had 30 questions which were of easy difficulty level. The topics of the questions were Quant based Reasoning, Missing Numbers, Linear & Circular Arrangements, Deductions, Data Interpretation, Critical Reasoning etc.

SNAP Eligibility
To apply for SNAP, a candidate should be a graduate with at least 50 per cent marks in graduation for general candidates. Final year students can also apply for provisional admission.

SNAP Application Process
The candidates have to first register themselves on the SNAP website www.snaptest.org. After that they can make the payment for entrance fees of Rs. 1550.

Last Date of registration:            4th week of November, 2011
Payment closes on:                     end of November, 2011
Declaration of results:                2nd week of January, 2012
Shortlist of SIBM for GD / PI:     3rd week of January, 2012
GD / PI MBA:                                 4th week of January to end of the month of January, 2012
Final Merit list display:                2nd week of February, 2012
Last date for payment of fees:   4th week of February, 2012
Beginning of Pre induction Programme: first week of April, 2012
Course Commencement: 1st week of June, 2012
