All About UPES MET 2013 Exam

The UPES MET is a test of 2.5 hours duration. There are four sections in the exam. There are 40 questions in each section with total 160 questions. The exam will be held from 10 am to 12.30 pm.

University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES) Dehradun, which offers specialized MBA program on Energy Management, conducts its own MBA entrance exam UPES MET for admission. The exam is conducted for the nine MBA programs which are offered by the institute.

Eligibility
The eligibility criteria vary according to courses. A candidate must have at least 50 per cent marks in board exams and graduation in Engineering.

Exam Pattern
The UPES MET is a test of 2.5 hours duration. There are four sections in the exam. The sections are General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability; Quantitative: Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency; General Awareness: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Business Scenario and Analytical & Logical Reasoning.

There are 40 questions in each section with total 160 questions. The exam will be held from 10 am to 12.30 pm.

UPES MET 2012 exam was held on Saturday, February 25, 2012.

Last date of application submission was Saturday, February 4, 2012.

UPES MET 2013 exam is expected to follow the similar timeline.

UPES offers nine MBA programs which are MBA Oil & Gas Management, MBA Energy Trading, MBA Power Management, MBA Information Systems Management, MBA Aviation Management, MBA Port & Shipping Management, MBA Energy Trading, MBA Infrastructure Management, MBA Logistics & Supply Chain Management and MBA International Business.
