Dear Himani,
Please refer to your query on the usage of ‘Apropos of’. Let us discuss the same a little –
Apropos (Adj.)- Appropriate, pertinent, to the point – Example -The scholar is a genius he makes apropos comments. (Adj. Modifies a noun ‘comments’)
Apropos (Adv.)- Incidentally, at the appropriate time, pertinently. – Examples- Apropos what were you doing in the ground; Your gift, as usual, arrived apropos ( Adverb modifies a verb/adjective – were doing, the activity going on; arrived at the right time so apropos)
(Both as an adverb and adjective apropos means almost the same thing and both have two meanings. Pertinent and incidental which are not same)
Apropos of (Preposition) – With regard to, in respect of (Synonyms- as far as, about, as regards, as to, concerning of ) - Examples – Apropos of our discussion, I forward herewith the details of the project; Apropos of the preceding statement.......................; Apropos of the earlier correspondence, I would like to add.............
Please remember -practice the word in at least four five sentences and in case of any confusion please ask again. Best wishes,

Dear Shubh, You might remember, while sharing the discussion on time zones ( tenses) we used the concept of non-continuous verbs. However, below is given the concept, brief list of verbs - non-continuous as well as mixed and their usage. Hope this will help -
"Non-Continuous Verbs" are usually the ones you cannot see somebody doing. These verbs are rarely used in continuous tenses. They include - to be, to want, to cost, to seem, to need, to care, to contain, to owe, to exist, to possess, to own, to belong, to like, to love, to hate, to dislike, to fear etc. Look at the examples ( Incorrect/correct sentences) with non-continuous verbs – We are needing help now.( Not Correct); We need help now.( Correct); He is wanting a drink now.( Not Correct); He wants a drink now.( Correct)
Mixed Verbs - have more than one meaning. Some meanings behave like "Non-Continuous Verbs," while other meanings behave like "Normal Verbs." Examples - to appear, to feel, to have, to hear, to look, to see, to weigh etc. Look at the example sentences -Reshma appears confused.(used as Non-Continuous Verb); My favorite singer is appearing at the jazz club tonight.( used as Normal Verb); I have some money now.( Non-Continuous Verb); I am having fun now.( Normal Verb); She hears the music. (Non-Continuous Verb); She is hearing voices. (Normal Verb) – it means She hears something others cannot hear. She is hearing voices in her mind.
- Best wishes
