The Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) is a master’s level programme, leading to the grant of a degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA). The two-year, full-time, residential programme is designed to equip students to take on leadership roles in an increasingly complex and dynamic global scenario. PGP lasts six trimesters, spread over two years, with a summer project intermediary. PGP at IIM Bangalore is one of the most highly placed programmes in global rankings.

Designed to train students to become excellent general managers and high-level-decision-makers with broad strategic vision, this full-time two year residential program views management as an integrated process and helps students develop a global view and respond effectively to changes in the economic, technological, cultural and political environments. Specific skills in areas such as accounting, finance, marketing, operations, and management lie at the heart of the course.

This is a two-year full-time residential programme, which follows trimester system. The first year consists of core courses and the second year consists of elective courses. A summer project is scheduled at the end of the first year. The programme offers dual specialisations (major and minor) in the second year. At the successful completion of the program the student will be awarded a Master’s Degree.

IMT-Nagpur offers a two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Marketing [PGDM-Marketing]. In the second year of the Programme, each student is required to opt for 12 elective courses across the Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Term based on his / her aptitude or interest. There are 22 Core Subjects, 14 electives (including flexi-core), and 1 summer internship project.
