IMC Faculty Masterclass 2021
To share latest thinking and pedagogical tools with faculty members

In 2015, celebrating five years of its journey, IMC initiated annual Faculty Development Workshop. The aim of this workshop is to make a small contribution towards management faculty development process.

The inaugural IMC Faculty Workshop 2015 on ‘Education Technology in Classroom’ was conducted by Dr Arun Pereira, Executive Director, Centre for Teaching Learning and Case Development (CTLC) at Indian School of Business (ISB). IMC Faculty Workshop 2016 was conducted on ‘Case Development in the Indian Context’ by living legends Dr MR Dixit, Professor, IIM Ahmedabad and Dr Vijaya Sherry Chand, Professor, Ravi J Matthai Center for Education Innovation at IIM Ahmedabad. IMC Faculty Workshop 2017 was conducted on 'Teaching with Simulations' by Harvard Business Publishing India and SPJIMR Mumbai. Workshop was facilitated by Dr Rajiv Agarwal, Head of Case Centre and Simulations Development at SPJIMR. IMC Faculty Workshop 2018 was conducted on 'MOOC in Management Education' by Dr PD Jose, Chairperson, Digital Learning at IIM Bangalore. IMC Faculty Workshop 2019 on ‘Podcase’ as a pedagogical tool was conducted by Mr Jay Desai, Senior Instructor, Harvard Business Publishing.

IMC Faculty Masterclass 2021 was conducted by Prof Das Narayandas, Edsel Bryant Ford Professor of Business Administration, Harvard Business School, on the Topic of Future of Leadership Development in a Hybrid World.

Prof Das Narayandas is the Edsel Bryant Ford Professor of Business Administration at the Harvard Business School. He is currently the Senior Associate Dean, Harvard Business Publishing. Prof Narayandas previously has been Senior Associate Dean, External Relations, Senior Associate Dean, Executive Education, Chair of the Executive Education Advanced Management Program and the Program for Leadership Development. Prof Narayandas has twice been selected as the Class Day faculty speaker, and has received the award for teaching excellence from the graduating HBS MBA Class on several occasions. He has co-authored three books and his articles have appeared in Harvard Business Review, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Management Science, and Sloan Management Review.
