About the Exam

MAH CET 2019 for admission to MBA/MMS courses in 300+ Maharashtra MBA colleges is to be held on March 9 & 10, 2019 as an online computer based exam of  2½ hours (150 minutes) duration. The exam consists of 200 questions in MCQ format. The best part is that there is no negative marking in the DTE MAH MBA/MMS CET 2019 entrance exam.


The exam is the gateway to MBA/MMS 2019-21 batch in JBIMS, SIMSREE, PUMBA, K J Somaiya, N L Dalmiya, DSIMS, Dy Patil and other 300+ MBA colleges in Maharashtra.


15% to 35% seat allocation is available for All India candidates appearing in MAH-CET 2019 exam. These candidates will also be offered admission on the basis of their scores in two All India MBA entrance exams – CAT 2018 and CMAT 2019.


MAHCET 2019: MBA Admission Process

Post declaration of MAH CET 2019 result on March 18, 2019, DTE Maharashtra will start the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) to allot the MBA/MMS seats in all the participating MBA colleges from mid May 2019 and would continue it till July 2019.


After the document verification process, the merit list would be declared. This will facilitate the B-school allotment process. Final Merit list is proposed to be declared in the second week of July 2019.


All the top MBA colleges in Maharashtra including JBIMS Mumbai, SIMSREE, PUMBA, K J Somaiya who are participating in CAP round, will offer admission in accordance with seat matrix and B-school allotment through DTE-CAP 2019. 


MAH CET 2019 for admission to MBA/MMS/PGDM/PGDBM courses in the AICTE approved B schools in Maharashtra will be an online test.
