DTE CAP 2018: Step by Step Registration Guide

Registration to participate in DTE CAP 2018 has started on June 7, 2018 for MBA Admission in JBIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya, N L Dalmiya, PUMBA, Dy Patil and more than 300 MBA colleges in Maharashtra. Last date to apply for Admission is June 28, 2018

 

Two Types of Candidates
There are following two types of candidates who can register for DTE CAP 2018:

 

New Candidates: These are the candidates who did not register for MAHCET 2018 written exam and did not pay the exam fee. They can apply on the basis of other National level MBA entrance exams like CAT/CMAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA. These candidates have to pay the CAP 2018 registration fee.

 

Already Registered candidates: These candidates had registered for MAHCET 2018 and made payment of exam fee. Such candidates may have appeared in MAHCET 2018 or may not have appeared. They can apply with other exam scores also. But they do not need to pay the CAP 2018 registration fee.

 

7 Steps Registration Process for DTE CAP 2018
Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra has specified 7 pages of registration steps to register for DTE CAP 2018.

 

Step-1:  Login Page for New/Already Registered candidates
Depending upon your candidature – New or Already Registered candidate you must click on the relevant login page as detailed here. You have to enter here your Name, Mail ID, Mobile number among other details. After successful submission  of this page online, you will receive DTE CAP 2018 Registration ID. This will allow you to proceed further to complete your application process.

 

Step-2: Details of Entrance Exam
You have to enter the information in regard to your candidature on this page whether you appeared in MAHCET 2018 or are applying on the basis of other exam score. You need to enter the exam name – like MAHCET 2018, CAT 2017, ATMA 2018 among others; your Roll Number; Percentile; Total Score and All India  Rank on this page.

 

 

Step-3: Type of Candidate
This page appears long but you have to simply click only in one circle to determine your category whether you belong to Maharashtra State or Outside Maharashtra State category.

 

 

Step-4: Check your Candidature Type
You should check on this page whether your candidature is correctly identified. On the basis of entered particulars, this page will have your candidature type and your University type which you should check before proceeding further.

 

 

Step-5: Category Decision
On this Application page for DTE CAP 2018 you have to enter all the details in regard to your category – General or Reserved, Nationality. 

 

 

Step-6: Academic Qualification
This Page requires you to enter all the details right from your class 10 onwards with aggregate marks and percentage. For class 10 you also have to enter your marks in Maths, English and Science subjects.

 

DTE Maharashtra has clarified, "In case of Candidates who did not have 'Science' & 'Mathematics' as Subject at SSC shall enter marks obtained as "0" and out of marks as "0." These marks are not mandatory.

 

 

Step-7: Personal Details
You have to enter all your personal details as available in class 10 certificate. It includes your Name, Mother’s name, address, gender among others. Your Mobile number and E-mail ID is automatically picked from the registration page.

 

 

Step-8: Upload Photo with signature
Before uploading your photo and signature in one, you should check the sample photo & signature which is available at the link on this page. You should upload the similar size photo and signature on this page. Please note your scan signature is a part of your photograph and has to be uploaded as a single document. 

 

 

Step-9: Make Payment
This page is payment gateway to participate in DTE CAP 2018. If you are General candidate, OMS candidate you need to pay Rs.1000/-; If you are Maharashtra State Reserved category candidate, you need to pay Rs.800/- and if you are a foreign national, PIO living in foreign, you need to pay Rs.5000/-.

The Payment is to be made online.
