Amrita School of Business (ASB), constituent of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University, Coimbatore has earned the prestigious global AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) Accreditation. With ASB joining the elite club of B-schools in India with the coveted AACSB Accreditation, total number of AACSB Accredited management institutes in India has gone up to eleven from ten earlier.
The two-year, full-time residential MBA program at Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore is now Internationally Accredited by AACSB. In its press release on November 14, 2019, AACSB announced that Amrita School of Business has earned accreditation which is awarded to the institute for its demonstrated focus on quality in teaching, research, curriculum development, and student learning.

AACSB Accreditation has been earned by only 5 percent of the world's schools offering business degrees at the bachelor level or higher. With ASB Coimbatore being awarded AACSB Accreditation, 862 institutions across 56 countries and territories have earned and maintain AACSB Accreditation. Furthermore, 188 institutions maintain a supplemental AACSB Accreditation for their accounting programs.
AACSB Accreditation provides a framework of 15 international standards against which business schools around the world assess the quality of their educational services. These standards ensure continuous improvement and provide focus for schools to deliver on their mission, innovate, and drive impact. The list of B-schools earlier accredited by AACSB includes Harvard Business School, Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and the MIT Sloan School also.
