MAT 2024 Important Date for Exam: A day before exam date Activity
- Check if you have taken Print of your MAT Admit card on an A4 size paper.
- Check if you have pasted your photograph on MAT 2024 admit card. If not, paste the identical photograph as uploaded at the time of registering for MAT 2024 at the indicated place.
- Please note that MAT Admit Card is valid only if the candidate's photograph and signature images are legibly printed.
- Keep the MAT Admit Card ready to carry on MAT exam date with you. MAT Admit card is to be produced for verification at the time of the test.
- Keep ready at least one original (not photocopied or scanned) valid (not expired) photo identification card. This ID is needed to be produced for verification at the MAT Exam centre on the MAT 2024 exam date.
- Valid and acceptable Photo IDs are: College ID, Employer ID, Driving License, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Aadhar Card, Identification Affidavit). The candidate's photograph and signature should be legibly printed and visible on the photo ID card and should match the name on Admit Card. The Photo ID card should not be damaged or smudged.
- Locate your MAT test centre and its accessibility a day before the test so that you can reach the centre on time on the MAT exam date.
MAT 2024 Exam Date Important Activity: Do’s and Don’ts
Do’s
- Arrive at the MAT exam centre on the MAT exam date at least 60 minutes before the commencement of the MAT exam
- Only Admit Card & Photo ID Card, pen & pencil, eraser, are allowed inside the MAT test hall. Nothing else is permitted.
- Allow PwD candidates to get into test centre first as they will get priority entry
Don’ts
- Do not carry Mobile phones, electronic gadgets, watches, calculators, other items, papers, wallets, goggles or similar such things as they are not allowed inside the test hall on MAT exam date.
- Don’t carry valuables on MAT exam date to MAT exam centre. There is no facility for safekeeping of your personal belongings outside the test hall and MAT Centre is not responsible for its loss.
- Don’t ask your friends and relatives to accompany you as they will not be allowed inside the test centre.
Locating your Seat on MAT Date
You should check first and locate your designated seat and test room at the entry point of MAT test centre on the MAT exam date. The Testing room and seat can be located with your roll number/registration number allotted to you. For any correspondence with AIMA regarding MAT exam, you must provide your Registration Number.
Inside the MAT testing hall on MAT 2024 Date
Before you enter the MAT testing hall, use the wash room as you may not be able to go to wash room during the MAT exam duration.
MAT an Important MBA Entrance Test
Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardised test being administered since 1988 to facilitate Business Schools to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programmes. Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test in 2003. Any B-School - national or international - can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the Score Cards issued to the candidates. IBT MAT: Key Features
"Remotely Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT)" has a separate exam date schedule. The key features of the exam are:
- For taking the test in IBT mode, instead of going to a test centre candidates could do so from the safe confines and convenience of their homes subject to certain conditions.
- Only the candidates with a computer together with webcam and internet facilities meeting certain specifications can appear in IBT exam.
- The sanctity and security of the test is effectively maintained through remote proctoring in dual mode i.e., by employing robust Artificial Intelligence (AI) based tools as also human proctors.
- In order to help candidates to familiarize themselves with this new mode of testing, AIMA has also scheduled mock MAT-IBT sessions
- These IBT mock tests replicate the testing environment and help candidates build familiarity with the same. This ensures that the candidates are adequately prepared for the main test.
Candidates now have the option to choose any one or more of the two modes of MAT exams from among CBT, IBT and PBT
