Admissions Process

 

Eligibility for Admission

  • A graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks can apply for MBA admission.
  • For the MBA programs of SMS-CUSAT, the admission will be based on the latest valid score in KMAT of Kerala/ CAT of IIMs or CMAT of AICTE. No separate CAT by CUSAT for SMS MBA admissions will be conducted.
  • You have to apply/register separately giving your Aptitude Test Score and required application fee in response to the CUSAT CAT Notification, which is published in all leading news papers during the month of January
  • The scores of different tests taken by candidates will be normalised to a common score and this score will be used to shortlist candidates for the GD and Interview 
  • The GD/Interview are held at Kochi tentatively during April and the admissions may be finalized in the month of May. The academic session starts in first week of July

Final Selection Process
•    Applicants for M.B.A / M.B.A (Part-time) are short-listed on the basis of their CMAT/CAT/KMAT score and will be required to attend Group Discussion and Interview.
•    Rank lists for M.B.A/ M.B.A. (Part-time), are prepared on the combined basis of the valid scores and performance at Group Discussion and Interview
•    Weightage components to generate final merit list for admission are as below:
