Delhi University has declared the DU JAT 2019 Result with score card on July 18. Much before the pre announced date to declare the DUJAT 2019 result on July 20, 2019, the result has been declared 2 days in advance. Candidates who appeared in DU JAT 2019 for admission to BMS, BBA (FIA) and B.A. (Honours) Business Economics 2019 courses in DU colleges on July 6, can now view and download their DU JAT Score card from NTA official website for DUET Result. 

 

Ishaan Jain and Shantanu Chaudhary have secured 100 percentile in DU JAT 2019 exam. 19837 candidates have been declared successful in the DU JAT 2019 exam which was held on July 6, 2019. Last year the 466 page DU JAT result consisted of the scores and ranks of 14,897 successful candidates who appeared in the DU JAT exam.

The DUET-2019 Examination was conducted by NTA in partnership with Delhi University between 3rd July 2019 and 8th July 2019 in three shifts per day across 18 cities in the country. The examination was conducted in 132 subjects. A total number of 222860 candidates had registered for this examination. There were 101 examination centres across the country. A total number of 115 Observers and 20 City Coordinators were deployed to oversee the smooth and fair conduct of examination.

 

DU JAT 2019: Schedule and Guidelines for Admission
Delhi University has issued the schedule and guidelines for admission process based on DU JAT scores 2019 for the UG courses. The final rank-wise result for these courses is declared on  July 19, 2019.

·         For the BMS/BBA (FIA)/BA (H)BE courses and the B.El.Ed. course, applicants are permitted to edit and update their preference order of colleges (and courses) till 24 hours after the declaration of the rank-wise result

DU JAT 2019 was conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) on July 6, 2019 for admission to Delhi University BBA/BMS and other undergraduate management courses in top colleges of Delhi University. DU JAT Exam 2019 was scheduled in two shifts on the same day - shift 1 from 12 Noon to 2 PM and shift 2 from 4 PM to 6 PM. It was a computer based test and was conducted by NTA for the first time. 

 

 

Key Features of DU JAT 2019 Result

  • The Overall Rank of the test taker is calculated as a 35-65 weighted average of Best 4 and JAT Score. 
  • In case of a candidate falling under multiple categories, rank is provided only in the categories where the candidate satisfies the minimum eligibility requirements.
  • Candidates are permitted to change their preferences for course and college on the admission portal till 5 p.m. by the stipulated date which is July 20.  No change is permitted later.
  • The First Allotment List is made available after July 20, immediately after this process is over
  • The Candidates would be required to complete admission formalities at the colleges in 2-3 days time say latest by July 25, 2019.  
  • It is advisable to provide "No Preference" for a course-college in which the candidate does not wish to gain admission.  

Score Normalization in DU JAT Result 2019
Delhi University will declare the DUJAT 2019 Result after Score Normalization Process for JAT-2019 for admission to BMS/BBA (FIA) & B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics.  A combined Merit List will be generated after Normalizing the scores of DU JAT 2019 exam since the exam is held in two shifts  with different difficulty level.  Four important factors will be taken into consideration in DU JAT 2019 Score Normaliation Process & Merit Cut offs. 

  1. Number of DU JAT 2019 Exam takers
  2. Difficulty level of DU JAT Examination
  3. Maximum marks obtained in DU JAT 2019
  4. Average score obtained by candidates in DUJAT 2019  

DU JAT 2019 Result Declaration Process & Merit List Cut Offs

  • The scores of candidates who appear in the DU JAT 2019 entrance examination shall be subjected to a Normalization Process called EquiPercentile Equating before declaration of DU JAT 2019 result. 
  • The Process is widely adopted & internationally accepted method of score normalization in multi-batch examinations. 
  • The percentile ranks so derived & equated will be used as input criteria to finalise the merit list for shortlisting and admission to BMS/BBA (FIA) & B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics and other programmes of Delhi University colleges.
  • The question papers of each shift will be different to give a fair and level competition. This will lead to slight differences in difficulty level on each shift. 
  • To ensure that comparison of marks is fair, marks are normalized by using the EquiPercentile Equating procedure.
  • Normalization of marks process will begin after both the shifts of DU JAT 2019 exam are concluded for admission to the BMS/BBA (FIA) & B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics  
  • Merit ranking of candidates is done on the basis of normalized marks. 

Number of test takers, Difficulty level of exam, Marks obtained in DU JAT 2019 and Average score obtained by all the candidates are the important parameters to complete the EquiPercentile Equating process and prepare the merit list cut offs.
