NMIMS Mumbai has postponed NPAT 2020 exam dates to May 18 & May 22, 2020 from earlier May 9 & 10, 2020. The exam will be an online computer based test and the candidates can appear in NPAT 2020 by login from their homes.  
NPAT is the undergraduate entrance exam for admission to BBA, BBA+MBA Integrated programme at Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce (ASMSOC), NMIMS Mumbai. NPAT 2020 last date to apply is extended to May 10, 2020. A candidate who has passed class 12 with 60% marks or is appearing in class 12 this year, can appear in NPAT 2020.  
In the wake of the COVID 19 pandemic, NMIMS has decided to postpone the NPAT Test scheduled on 9th and 10th May 2020 in the test centers.  The corresponding exam dates are as under:
  • The new dates for the NPAT Test are 18th May 2020 and 22nd May 2020. 
  • Those who had opted for 9th May 2020, will now take the online proctored (OP) test on 18th May 2020. 
  • Those who had opted for 10th May 2020, will now take the online proctored (OP) test on 22nd May 2020.

Keeping the safety of applicants at the fore front, NMIMS will conduct the NPAT Test as an online proctored (OP) test that will allow NMIMS aspirants to take the NPAT Test conveniently at their homes or place of residence while being monitored by an offsite proctor.


All aspirants will have an opportunity to simulate an online proctored (OP) test experience through a mock test for which the University shall be communicating more information on policies and procedures, computer system requirements, and other requirements.

NPAT Registration 2020: Important Instructions

  • Candidates must register once for NMIMS NPAT exam.
  • Option is given to appear for test on both days (18 & 22nd May'2020) by paying fees for both days as per school opted for
  • Option of date once chosen cannot be altered later/after successful completion of registration and payment.

How to Register and Fill NPAT Application Form 2020

  • Visit official NPAT website for online registration
  • Register Online & Pay Registration Fee. The NPAT Registration Fee is non-refundable
  • You have the choice to register for multiple programs /Schools by paying fees for both days.
  • Candidate must register once
  • Option is given to appear for test on both the days (18 & 22md May'2020) by paying fees for both the days separately according to the category (Engineering / Non – Engineering) as per school opted for  
  • NPAT Registration fees will differ while doing registration for both days
  • Candidate who opted a school among the Engineering Category on first day of NMIMS-NPAT examination, will be able to appear for Non-Engineering category schools on next day and vice-a-versa
  • Option of date once chosen cannot be altered later/after successful completion of registration and payment for the candidate who applies for both dates for examination and makes payment as the date of examination will not be reduced
  • If there are multiple / duplication registrations, then registration for NMIMS-NPAT will not be considered & registration fee will be forfeited
  • Candidates who attend the test on both the days, their highest scores will be considered for merit list as per the choice of school & preferences given by them

NPAT Registration: Step by Step Process

  • Step 1: Click on 'Apply Now' and create your account.
  • Step 2: Go to your mail box and verify your account by clicking the given link.
  • Step 3: Login with your username and password and complete your application form. Click on the EDIT button on top right hand side of the screen (above the NPAT 2020 logo) and fill/ complete the details.
  • Step 4: Fill the form save and submit.
  • Step 5: Make online payment of Application fees and complete the process.

NPAT 2020 Registration Fee

  • Rs. 1800/- plus applicable taxes for all programs of one school.
  • Rs. 3000/- plus applicable taxes for all programs of two different schools.
  • Rs. 4000/- plus applicable taxes for all programs of three different schools.
  • Rs. 5000/- plus applicable taxes for all programs of four different schools.
  • Rs. 6000/- plus applicable taxes for all programs of five different schools
  • Rs. 7000/ - plus applicable taxes for all programs of six different schools.
  • Rs. 8000/- plus applicable taxes for all programs of seven different schools.

How to Upload Photo in NPAT Application Form? 5 Point Guide
Candidates should upload photographs in NPAT Application Form 2020 making sure that the photographs are not more than 6 months old and should adhere to following 5 point guidelines:

  1. Photos should be in .jpeg format, and dimensions should be 200 pixels tall and 150 pixels wide. Size should not exceed more than 200 kb.
  2. Photo should have either white or a lightly colored background
  3. Eyes should be open and clearly visible
  4. Photo should have candidates’ face distinctly visible, straight and at the center. Shoulder tops should be also clear in the photo. 5. Photos where candidate is seen to be wearing cap or goggles will be rejected.

Choice of 2 Test Cities in NPAT Registration Form
NPAT 2020 is conducted in 47 test cities. Candidates will be given an option to choose 2 test cities at the time of online registration which is applicable for the both days if candidate has opted for the test on both days.


Edit Option in NPAT Registration Form
The NPAT Online registration form will be editable for restricted fields only:

  • Addition in school/program
  • Date of Examination
  • Change of NPAT test city

Changes will be applicable for both days if candidate has opted for test for both days. Last date for changes in above field will be 26th April'2020. Changes will not be accepted from 27th April'2020 in online registration form.


Who can Apply for NPAT 2020?

  1. A candidate who has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination and has obtained a minimum of 60% aggregate marks for admission to BBA/B.Sc. Finance & B.Com (Hons) with Mathematics / Statistics at their 10+2 or equivalent examination in one or the first attempt can apply for NPAT.
  2. Candidates of CBSE, ICSE, should mention in the NPAT online registration / e-admission form (if selected) 10+2 or equivalent aggregate marks of all the subjects for which the candidate has taken & appeared for (not best of four, five, six or seven)
  3. The candidate should have passed all the subjects taken & appeared for in the applicable examination/s.
  4. The aggregate percentage of all subjects for which the candidate has taken & appeared will be taken into consideration for confirming eligibility of the candidate for the program at the time of admission
  5. Candidates above 25 years of age cannot register and apply for NPAT
  6. Candidates appearing for their final 10+2 or equivalent examination can also apply for NPAT provided they must obtain the required minimum cut off marks and also produce the entire necessary Documents, in original, within the given stipulated time
