Dr Atish Chattopadhyay joined as Director of IFIM Business School in Bangalore in 2018 and, in a short span, spearheaded many successful initiatives including alliances with leading global B-schools like McCombs at Texas at Austin for Big Data and Blockchain, ESCP London for Fintech and Digital transformation, and the University of Virginia for Mar Tech; revamping program architecture; and ‘MBA Curriculum for Industry 4.0’ study with NHRDN.

Prior to joining IFIM, Dr Chattopadhyay has held leadership positions as Director of IMT Ghaziabad, Dean of MICA and Deputy Director at SPJIMR, Mumbai. At IMT Ghaziabad and MICA Ahmedabad, Dr Chattopadhyay restructured the admission process, resulting in a tremendous growth in the applicant pool. At SPJIMR, he successfully led the flagship two-year PGDM Program of SPJIMR for over five years.

He expanded international student exchange, restructured curriculum, transitioned to semester system and enhanced alumni engagement.
In February 2018, IFIM Bangalore became the sixth B-school in India to be AACSB Accredited, along with ISB, TAPMI, IIM Calcutta, XLRI and IMT Ghaziabad.
