A passionate learner and teacher, Mr Jay P Desai is Facilitator Corporate Learning at Harvard Business School Publishing. He works with strategic global clients serving as a guide and facilitator in leadership development programs. Mr. Desai brings with him over 30 years of management consulting experience of working across industries including Life Sciences, Medical Technology, Agribusiness & Food, Industrial Products and Financial Services.

Moved by the terror attacks in Mumbai in November 2008, Mr Desai authored a book titled “Accountability: Angst, Awareness, Action” on India's complex governance systems. He was a part of ‘Best of Harvard in India’ roundtable series on Accountability & Governance, organized by Harvard University’s South Asia Initiative. He conducted expert guest lectures at The Wharton School, University of Cambridge, Vanderbilt University, Ashoka University and the Harvard Club of Mumbai. His research interests are in the application of lessons from evolutionary biology and complexity science, to developing business strategies in the rapidly evolving Indian market.

An MBA from Willamette University in Oregon, USA, Mr Desai was conferred Distinguished Alumni Citation Award for 2017 by the University. He did Advanced Management Program (AMP) from Harvard Business School, an MS in Biology from Purdue University and a B.Sc. in Life Sciences from the University of Mumbai.
