Dr. N R Parasuraman is Director of SDMIMD Mysore and is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants. A Commerce and Law graduate, Dr. Parasuraman has 30 years of experience in diverse areas of finance. His Ph.D is on Capital Structure of Indian Companies. Carrying with him 17 years of full time experience in academics, the key areas of his teaching and research are Strategy, Financial Derivatives and Multinational Finance. Dr Parasuraman was an Adjunct Faculty at the IIM Kozhikode and is now a visiting faculty at the IIM Rohtak and IIM Udaipur.

Before turning to full time academics, Dr. Parasuraman was the Company Secretary of Federal Bank for 5 years. He has published 30 papers and concept articles in various journals. He has authored books titled ‘Financial Management – a Step by Step approach’, ‘Fundamentals of Financial derivatives’.

SDMIMD, Mysore is one of the leading B-schools in Karnataka and is ranked among top 50 B-schools in India. It is the first and only B School in India to get dual accreditation from EFMD (EPAS) and ACBSP. Recently, Dr Parasuraman has been appointed as a member of the EPAS Accreditation Board by EFMD.
