P. Christie, S.J has recently taken over as the Director of XLRI Jamshedpur, one of India’s premier B-Schools. Prior to joining XLRI, Fr. Christie has been serving as the Director of Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA), Chennai for 11 years. His association with LIBA goes back to 1999, where he started as Assistant Professor of Decision Sciences and later became the Dean before taking up the responsibility of the Director.

Before joining LIBA, Fr. P. Christie, S.J. served as adjunct faculty in the School of Business, St Louis University, USA from 1996 to 1999 where he taught Business Statistics for the undergraduate and graduate students. He had served as Director, Research of Development, Madurai Jesuit Province, Dindigul from 1989 to 1993.

Fr. Christie holds an MBA and Ph.D. in Business Administration from St. Louis University, St. Louis, USA with Major in Decision Sciences. He also holds a master’s degree in statistics from Madras Christian College, Chennai. With his vast experience in evaluations and strategic planning he has undertaken several consulting assignments and strategic planning of programs and organizations in India and abroad.
